Lilburn gives a home to steel from the Twin Towers
A 55 lb steel artifact recovered from the Twin Towers now stands in a memorial in Lilburn. The city asked Finest Fabrication to design, fabricate, and install the piece, and the shop delivered it in time for the dedication.
Owners Chad Smith and Jeff Delamar joined Mayor Johnny Crist at the unveiling. Origami paper cranes made by Daniele Roberts and her family hang in the atrium around the memorial.
